My name’s Chantel and I am the voyaging vagabond. I grew up in a small town, in the smallest state in the union (and yes it really does take forty five minutes to drive through Rhode Island). Now the thing with Rhode Island is that nobody ever leaves. I mean why would you want to, some of the best beaches in the state are a short drive away, Providence has all the hustle and bustle of a major city and Boston is a hop skip and a jump away.

But not me, I always knew I would make it out. That is what the voyaging vagabond is all about. It is about my journey to discover how big this world truly is and everything that comes with that. So sit back and enjoy. I hope that you can use this as a guide for your travels or as a means to live vicariously through me. Either way, as long as this page teaches you something new about the big, wide world then I have done my job.

  2. Aloha Of late say the past 5 months Bill Maher has taken to fat shaming people on his show. It made me loose ALL respect for him. I no longer watch his show.
I had gastric by pass surgery got down to 155. As with everyone I have met or read about, Everyone gained the weight back. I am up to 220 now
Only I now have terrible G.I. problems.
I have been fat shamed my whole life. And worst of all by my mother. (Adoptive)
Not a day went by I was not fat shamed AND race shamed. It affects you.
